death by success

My once faves appears to be in the midst of a meltdown caused by too much success. Over the past couple of weeks, they've been lucky enough to get a couple of friendly articles about them, onto digg. I watched with joy as the total number of subscribers jumped up, then reacted in despair at the discovery that the system is no longer usable. I dunno if they're having a specific hardware issue, or if they've just generally overgrown what they have, but now 95% of tracks I try to stream, end up failing with network timeout errors. I'm not giving up on them just yet, but I'm well past the silent suffering portion of my patience. They have to know how poorly they are doing at serving requests, unless they completely ignore their server logs. Either way, it's not painting a positive picture of their dedication to quality.
