Birdie convinced me to go kayaking on lake union with him saturday, and now I'm hooked. Sunday, I was at REI, looking at inflatable kayaks (I ain't puttin no rack on my beetle, and I can't afford a good kayak anyways)...crazy thing is, the cheapest paddle I found was still $50 more than the kayak I thought most acceptable.

So, for now, I'll continue to rent. Maybe see if the rental place is going to have anything on sale soon, though I dunno how I'd transport a full length rigid kayak.
