Two into One

We strive to be, dual nature alone/with, that point where two become one, coming together with a passion that pushes them back apart, like nuclear forces fighting polarity, all that is drawn together is pushed apart, the strength in direct relation to the closeness, a metaphor for the reality of trust/not-trust, people seek solace in the arms of the unknown, hope, peace, dreams of the night.

I love you, so when you ask me my fantasy, I am afraid, more than any other time, you offer openess, and I reply in fear, with a lie, feeling the disappointment grow, where I hoped to hide, where dreams had a chance, I have sown salt in the wound, a bitter ground that nothing may spring forth, my silence continues to till the soil, my anxiety is pissing on the fields, a nitrogen burn that can not be undone.
