Ah, the joys of living in the northwest, with all the friggin hippies.

First news this morning is that there's a new batch of sales taxes coming, including one specifically on doughnuts, when sold individually...but in a dozen, the tax doesn't apply.

Next up is word that the Seattle city council has decided to make recycling mandatory for home owners and businesses. They won't pick up your garbage if they think there's something in it to be recycled. And you thought Serial Mom wasn't based in truth?

Like I said, it's all part of living up here in the great northwest. The price of such beauty if the smelly hippies with their crazy notions. Thank goodness I live in an apartment, where enforcing recycling would work like emptying the ocean with panty hose.
