I took a long drive to nowhere this weekend.

Just me and my car

We went really far

With GPS tracking

And netstumbler mapping

I wandered out to the coast

A couple hundred miles at the most

Driving past

All the happy people

Couples in cars

Families on an outing

Friends

Even the hicks have friends

Baseball caps in a truck

Three in a row

Looking back at me

Some dorky comment as I fly past

The john wayne marina

But I'm the crazy one

Taking a long drive to nowhere

And pissed off that I can't drive there faster
