So, last week, my employer laid off about half the local office, including my manager.
Today, in our 9:30am meeting, he calls in as some sort of joke..."Hi, this is scott, sorry I'm late...um ha ha bye"
Like I said at the time, it's not as creepy, since he can't shoot us through the phone, but it's still pretty creepy thing to do, IMHO.
Then again, isn't it kind of creepy the way people who are laid off, are dead to those who survive.
Work is crazy.
And then they sent around a cryptic email saying we need to have a conference call with the CEO to answer some pressing questions...that can't be good, right?
