There's a certain something, we'll mis-file under irony for the sake of brevity, about noticing that the only person I've seen un-needfully paying the parking meter today, was a black man. Is it good that he's equally indifferent to the cause of civil right as any other minor holiday, or is it bad that he's not respecting those who fought pacifically and died, sometimes, for civil rights. Or is it just a sign that the black man still works too hard to get a mere federal holiday off, in america under bush?

Like I said, we'll just file it under irony for now.
