A very insightful cow-orker came to the realization as we were talking today, of the relationship between the bookends concept, and the weekends concept.

I always think of Saturday and Sunday being one weekend, but really, they are two seperate weekends, parts of two different weeks, since Sunday starts the week, and Saturday ends it. Just think, I've been taking off time from two weeks every week.
